I was there at DADI.COM and thought that the game was first class. Please bring it to other shows.

Turns out Marco is pretty efficient, too.  This is a quote from his post on the Yahoo Group for Gloire (hope you don't mind this quote, Marco):

Actually I build the scenery by myself in about 6 weeks.
At the end I really can't stand no mero! It was worse than a real
job! ;^)
The other fellows contributed with the trees and some miniatures,
and, very important, with the testing and setting of the scenario.
Their help and suggestions were absolutely invaluable.
I started to take pictures as i plan to write a tutorial, but I was
too lazy to photograph each step of the construction.
Anyway, if you have any question on materials, and so on,, please
ask!!
I'm going to write the details of the scenario, and I'll upload then
in the files section.  [of the Yahoo Group Gloire]

So Marco is both fast and beautiful!  Now that you are on Lead Adventures, Marco, I hope you are enjoying looking around the forums at the pictures of terrain and figures.

Warren

thank you very much for your crossposting!
BTW, all the scenario details, as well as character sheets, are available in the file section of Gloire Yahoo group.

When we at the club decided to present a Three Musketters scenario, I started to plan the activities.
First off, I checked on the net for some useful pictures of the "real thing".
That is monasteries, and "gothic" graveyards.
The crypt is VERY similar to the real one.
Then, with some documentation at hand, I started to design the building.
I used AutoCAD (yes, at work!) so I obtain detailed templates for walls, windows, etc. (if you need them, please ask!)
I worked at the evening and during weekends.
Now I'm relaxing painting zombies and a couple of napoleonic 54mm that will be Christmas gifts.

Lead Adventures is a VERY interesting forum, and I wonder how I could have missed it before.

Next project? ... mmmh... maybe a crash landed UFO in Italy, with the following fight among aliens, farmers, football supporters, policemen, the army, "mafiosi", etc? ;^))

I need them...  :)

Seriously, I'd love to have a go at this and would be interested in stealing... I mean seeing your templates.

Awesome terrain.
Especially the convent, could be useful for lots of games.
Wonder if anyone has tried gaming the "Sound of Music" yet.

Would love to get a set of PDF plans for the convent too, if I can jump onto the list.

Wow!!

Remgain, what did you use for the leaves on the ground? They look very realistic.

Hi all!

A quick comunication to inform you all that in the Gloire Yahoo Group I uploaded a zip file in which there are all the templates (pdf files) required to build the convent I built for the Musketeers scenario "The missing necklace".

The templates are in scale 1:1 but please note that they were draft in MILLIMETERS.

Hope you'll enjoy!

6mmfan,

Thank you very much!
The leaves are reaistic because... the ARE leaves!!

Go outside, grab some fallen leaves, let them properly dry, then crush them in tiny pieces in function of the scale of your miniatures.

I'll bet that fallen leaves in 6mm should be VERY tiny! :)
