Do I remember that song? What kind of question is that, Mr. Wolf?  lol 'cause I do. The old vinyl is downstairs right between Hendrix and the Grateful Dead...
Should I ever have the chance to see your music collection I'd probably feel right at home.

Having had the joy of seeing your music collection last year, I can only say it is most impressive.

Personally Guy, I'd ignore the people who say you're too dark ;)  I don't agree with them at all.
I think your style is unique and works brilliantly as it is.
It's all very well showing a figure under bright lighting and in forensic detail if your object is to show off your meticulous CMON-style painting prowess.
But if your object is to create a moody and evocative scene in which the figures are part of an overall composition that's altogether more impressionistic, then I really love the way you do it already.
Don't let other people bump you into a style that's different. It might suit their work. It won't necessarily suit yours.

Just my two penn'orth  :)

I infinitely prefer your original pictures of the lady to the lighter version.
Yes, the detail of the paintwork is a bit more visible. But it loses so much of the drama of the original.
Only painting geeks care about the detail of the paintwork. For most people, it's the overall effect that counts  ;)

Gotta say that I agree 100% with Captain Blood.
We all do things slightly differently and your original shot was much more atmospheric and worked brilliantly.
I love the way that you set up your shots with scenery, backdrop etc.
Please dont change your style, it is fantastic as it is and you manage to make a masterpiece of every image.

Both of the new Babes are VERY WELL DONE! The Chick in the Heavy Metal has an especially nice face.

More great figures.
I have enjoyed all your painting no matter what the figures, or the subject.
Love your painting style, please don't change it.

Lovely stuff!

I like the darker one especially, very Blanchesque!

Great work, as usual, Blackwolf!
