Lovely.  The sail is beautiful, and it looks like the rigging won't get in the way of game play.
Back from the dead, almost.

Just an outstanding model.
Looks to be very figure friendly to be able to move troops around the boat.
Very well done.
Is the second boat a different model?

You can stop it now, Frank - you're making the rest of us look average  :D

Seriously though, that is really a great result from a plastic kit.

What with your felucca and Hammer's paddle steamer, I suffering from extreme boat-envy today  >:(  ;)

Lovely boats. And with a different crew they would look just as nice in a pirate game.

Brilliant.  :-*  :-*  :-*

The second one looks to be even more appropriate, if that is possible.

Thank you.

Frank, would you give us the low down on how you waterlined your models.
Thank you.

First I have stuck together the hull of the model. Afterwards the hull was aligned horizontally on a smooth surface and fixed with something plasticine. Then I fastened (with tape) a soft pencil on an “article” (I have used an old tape-roll) with smooth lower surface. The “article” should exhibit the height (+ height of the pencil), which corresponds to the desired waterline. Now put the pencil /article on the smooth surface and drives thereby once approximately around the hull. You will now get a horizontally waterline everywhere. To good the latter cut off the under part of the hull along the drawn line with a mini circular saw.

Will try it out.
Thanks again.
