some pulp figures painted for a commission, the bases aren't finished as the customer bases them himself to fit the rest of his collection.

Nick Charles and Asta. A Detective and his dog written by Dashell Hammet. But they were American.

I assumed it was a young Poirot, but I suppose that Hergé might have drawn the other two while wearing dinner clothes!

Why he's got the buttonhole. Quite why he's adventuring
with tintin and snowy will obviously be explained ar some point
