I have five more being based (so much drying to wait for), then i'll post a group shot. Progress on the charcoal burning camp is good too, i'm sure you can't wait  ;).

Nice work. I'd always rather ignored the Denizen gobbos, but you've done a bang up job on that little fella.

Well, don't hold your breath, the next lot has another denizen gobbo in it, which is... not so good.

Some group shots including the five finished this week. Next up; more woodland terrain, a fortified farm and it's defenders plus a few orcs.

What a DELIGHTFULLY Motley Crew! I love the mix of different minis; it brings out the merry, disorganized mind-set of the Goblin persona wonderfully. VERY WELL DONE!

Nice pics and wonderful gobbos! And there is no need to feel ashamed for your painting skills. I have come to the conclusion that while perfect brushmanship is something to aspire it has become more and more important to aim at giving your miniatures personality. And that you have certainly managed. I really enjoy looking at your photos. So when there are more, post them! Please! Pretty please!

Thanks chaps (presumably)! I'm finding this thread quite useful, updating the blog is a bit daunting. On a related note, does anyone have any programs or tricks to make good looking fantasy maps or battlefield images? I suppose i should start looking for tables and people to play these scenarios out with.

Campaign Cartographer is a fantastic program for making fantasy maps, it has a lot of guides for working it as well.

Your painting is fantastic, the tone of the models is perfect.

Great stuff - interesting to see how those old preslottas match up with the later slotta gobbo's from the 80's.

Like your skintones too!

Got a bit of a Gobbo horde of my own growing away in a dark drawer and I'm quite tempted to start painting them up having seen yours...  8)

I haven't stopped completely, here is what I've managed to finish recently. I have about six or seven other half-completed items on the go, but isn't that the way.

Abnor Borschaft and his Bucolic Bowmen

And a group of sophisticated rural denizens

The ball's still rolling.

Very Nice!
 :-*

Nice work on both sets. Nice paintjobs and very realistic tones.
Great photo set-up too!

I like these minis a lot, they could be used in so many ways, who makes them?

The bowmen are all Perry plastics, WOTR archers apart from the lad in the smock who's a Mahdist figure. Hats are all sculpted on. The peasants are (l-r)  Foundry?, Perry, Foundry?, Foundry?, Gripping Beast???, Perry. I'll certainly add more Bowmen as i'm enjoying the fluff I have for them coming along.
