Chris,

I CHOOSE   to believe that Hammershield was attempting to do two things with his allegedly bungled post

1) Convey both "bona" and "boner" in the same thought

2) Conserve the letter "R"-I hear that there is an impending worldwide shortage of "R"'s and I applaud Hammershield's attempt to conserve them.

I though will continue my proligate use of said letter until prices rise to the point that I will no longer be able to afford "R"s

Do you know these models ?

I think they're great. It's a pack from horrorclix.

[EDIT] How, sorry... I have not seen that :  "I am now in search of suitable figures for Liz Sherman and Abe Sapiens. I would prefer metal. A friend has the Hellboy Clix, and they won't do." in the first post...

I am a newbie

Yes, I have to agree. I also love the Liz Sherman figure!

I had never really considered using these type of soft plastic figures before, until I got some of the new Dr Who "Micro Universe". They are very good indeed & these Hellboy figures also look like they are worth getting. A [fairly] local shop stocks them all, along with the "Aliens" figures, so I think I might have to pay a visit...

Randolph, welcome aboard & thanks very much for posting those pics :D

I always liked the concept of the Johann character to. There is a a larger action figure which has a smokey transparent head which looks really good. It would be fun to try to do something similar in 28 mill.

Well, there have been some nice transparent resin figures produced - an "invisible " Frodo by GW & some Predators by IIRC Ainsty, so making a "smokey" resin figure should be feasible. Then all you'd need to do would be to paint the rest of it as usual.

Then again, I'm not a figure manufacturer, so could just be talking absolute twaddle  :(
