A Goethe and Schiller Statue from Faller (railway model company). Supposed to be 1:87, but it works well with 30mm minis too.
Far less active than I used to...

That's interesting. I find it hard to find suitable statue figures. Just using a 28mm or 1/35 figure and paint it marble or verdigris wont do the trick since they most often have to active poses. Statues need to look...well, statuesque.

It's a 1:87 Version of the one in Weimar
Wikipedia Entry
The two statues are about 32 mm high without the base. It's allready painted, supplied with a pad (to use it as a paperweight) and did cost me 10 €urobucks.

Does homemade scenery count as "received"?

I'd think so, new things are always interesting to see either built or bought.

I've just built a couple of houses for a little cairo action. Apart from that I'm busy working on scenery for a .45 campaign. Soory, so far I'm unable to work my camera. I'll try to understand this wonder of advanced technic when I have a little more time.

I picked up this 1/64th pig farm by ERTL today for $16.00 at the local Farm and Home.

Shown here with some 28mm minis mostly Void Militia.

The buildings come with their own bases and the roofs come up for a lightly detailed interior.

First thing I plan to use them for is my Serenity RPG campaign.

I received the old church with a square tower (by Amera) from the Gamers Guild. Ordered it and it arrived next morning :D :D. Well done Gamers Guild for efficiency. Next up the Ministry building by Amera.

Cheers

I use GW LOTR figures, glued on to a wdding cake pillar, sprayed black and drybrushed in copper metal.  Some of their figures are quite statuesque, especially early Marines, too.

Just got these torture chamber bits for a scenery commission that I am building.
I'll be using the Iron Maiden and the rack. Will save the other bit for later.
