I just received a number of JR MIniatures resin 15mm ACW buildings from an online retailer. I am little disappointed in the casting; lots and lots of air bubbles and obscured detail :?

Another warning! I'm begining to think people don't post here as often as they should!

I've been on a quest to find cardboard terrain. So I've downloaded a bunch of stuff, mostly cod-medieval/fantasy, a little future-sci-fi, and one thing that I am fairly convinced will make a nice piece for VSF gaming (though whether on Mars or in Ruritania is anyone's guess...)

I will put up pics when I've made a few things, honestly.

Some time ago I bought a couple of these Rohan houses from Games Workshop...

They parts are very versatile and you can combine kits in a number of ways to produce not just a hovel, but a farm, smith, stables and even a longhouse. Unfortunately, at €34 per kit they are not exactly cheap; building a settlement will put you back with a pretty penny. On top of that, GW currently doesn't seem to not be able to keep up with demand

I got really hooked on building the sets I bought (which will end up a royal stud farm). By incredible good fortune got in contact with a chap who had given up on is expansive LotR plans and was selling his Laketown (3 buildings) and a Rohan Stronghold kits (six building kits, 2 wall and tower kits released as a bundle but no longer in the catalogue) with a considerable rebate.

This is  going to be fun...

Only got the shipping notice yesterday from Fenris Games and yet here is my order, all the way to the Isle of Skye, the next day. Dragon's lair and dragon egg markers to become spider egg sacs for my Elder Scrolls games, plus various jars and urns, treasure chests and a tomb for barrow delves. Bags of flagstones destined to become floors of my Jacobite era croft houses (using previously bought Fenris Games' Rubble City walls). Overwhelmingly happy.

So this was a custom, mildly raging river for my Mountain Man project which I received recently. This was an IN PROGRESS shot he sent me. I'll have to snap some pics of the finished product. It's quite nice. This piece was made to suit my Kill Team size mat (22x30).

Anyway, it was made by a guy on Etsy who's agreed to try his hand at Rice Paddies next for my never ending Nam project. :D

Is there a link to the guy on Etsy? I have in mind some snow theatre roads for Norway.

I received, a couple of weeks ago, 4 downtown Americana buildings, along with 2 garages, by mad Bob Miniatures.  Got them from Badger Games here in the States.  Pics of the completed buildings will go up on my Pulp thread when they are assembled and completed.  That's because their first outings will be as part of my Matewan Battle scenario from the west Virginia Coal Mine wars in the first quarter of the 20th century.

Warcradle scenics omega walkways. It seems useful for modern and Sci-fi eras.
