that's a turk officer of the german colonial troup (commands were first given in turkish to the sudanese askaris). does anyone know a suitable figur? or something similar to convert?

Try Copplestone castings WW1 range he has turkish officers.   They should blend perfectly with your Copplestone darkest Africa stuff. :)

not really, they're WW1 and have other uniforms, my turks are from 1891  :)

You could try looking for Sudan ranges and egyptian or Sudanese British trooops not sure of puttees then though

Professor - Are you absolutely certain about the Copplestone WW1 Turkish officers?
 There is one wearing a fur hat similar to your picture. The only difference is he is wearing boots, not puttees.Other than that he looks pretty much the same to me. :)
