FoW Armoured Trains?
« on: December 26, 2011, 09:40:41 AM »
Simple query, can anyone tell me if the armoured trains from Flames of War would be compatible with use on a working model railway set?

I don't think so.  I looked at the Polish train when a buddy of mine bought one, and the wheels have to be glued into place.  Also, they are not full wheels but half-wheels so that they will fit on the tracks properly.  They will not roll without some significant modification.  They use TT scale track, which may be difficult to find depending on where you are.

The wheels are no "real" wheels but rather half a wheel that is glued beneath the train car. If you don't mind pushing them around the train tracks would require - as mentioned by frontal assault, TT scale size.
