VSF in 15mm
« on: December 26, 2011, 02:42:53 PM »
Hello,

I watched John Carter of Mars trailer and I am tempted to play VSF games in 15mm (not a new idea or project though).

Apart Black Hat Miniatures are there any other suitable 15mm miniatures manufacturers for 15mm miniatures ?

Are Black Hat 18mm human miniatures compatible with other manufacturers human miniatures (such as Peter Pig) ?  if yes which ones ?

Thanks
I wish I were an octopus to paint more miniatures...Cthulhu must be a great painter

Quick answer, though, is Peter Pig http://www.peterpig.co.uk/bigmartians.jpg  I use the Peter Pig figures for the bulk of my Green Martians as:

1: They fit better on the base

and

2: They are slightly smaller, allowing me to use the Black Hat minis as commanders.

I have read the TMP thread but most of the manufacturers don't exist anymore.

So my last question is :  which miniatures would be compatible in size with Black Hat british minis ?

I don't care about martians as they can be of any size.....  ;)

Hi

I believe that our British are a good match for Old Glory 15mm which are on the larger size.

I have that set and it is very nice indeed.  Black Hat is also good to work with.
