Here are some pictures from our group's game last night. The scenario involved a group of pirates raiding a town somewhere in the Caribbean. The pirates wanted to use the town as a base of operations - once they defeated the colonial settlers and government troops.
The defenders put up a good fight, but were eventually overwhelmed by the invaders.
We used "This Very Ground" rules from Iron Ivan - with a few small adjustments.

All quiet along the coast.

Is that a sail in the distance?

Sound the alarm!

Would you mind giving a bit of a run down on the figs you used? I am most curious about the pirates, the government troops and the lin of what assume are sailors defending the rock wall.

Lovely figures, terrain & boats. I do love those boats! :love:

Are the government troops Old Glory? If so, they appear to be some of their better sculpts. I'm trying to decide where to get mine from & these look good to me. I need quite a few, so their big bags are welcome, for once :wink:

Beautiful looking game! I love the government troops and the frightened town militia. Those bands of buccaneers are savage looking!

What a lovely looking game, you captured the menace of the shore parties attacking the town very well I would certianly be heading for the hills rather than standing behind that wall :
