New Kid on the block
« on: January 02, 2012, 09:47:50 AM »
Hello all you miniature gamers.
I´ve been lurking this site for some time and felt compelled that during this new year 2012 join your community to be inspired by your creativity. I played a lot of GW games as I grow up during the 90:s but let go of that part of gaming during the 00:s and played board games, and role played a lot instead. Last year I got back into the miniatures again. I always have enjoyed completive gaming and started organizing and play in a blood bowl league in my home town. As blood bowl is an old GW game that GW no longer are supporting I started looking around for alternative manufacturing of miniatures, and as you all know there are today plenty of them and easy to discover them with Internet. That search got me into the Quar range from zombie smith and from that forum I found this community. Even thou I still play a lot of competing games (like blood bowl, warmachine) the more artistic side of the hobby is more intriguing for me today. I am on my way to begin a VSF/steam punk force but I also would like to model a Post-apo/fallout board, an underwater board and some more... Well we will see and I hope I can contribute some to make this great side even more inspiring to all you.

/M.

Greetings, take your coat off and sit down.  I'll put the kettle on for a brew.  You'll be here for a long time.  :D
