15mm steam tank added to gallery

Hi all,

I had a spare Eureka Lucifer Hardlove steam chair knocking about so decided to convert it to a 15mm steam tank. I've added pics to my gallery:

And:

I haven't allocated the machine to any particular nation yet, hence the basic khaki paint job on the crew.

Thanks to Malamute for the painting tips.

Hope it meets with your approval.

Great work T-chicken!
They would make great scout vehicles my mechanised invasion of Zululand...

Thanks chaps.

Tas, I like the idea of a scout vehicle. Think I'll knock another one together.

Nice idea, it works really well for 15mm. Can't wait to see more :)

Cool. It looks like it was designed for 15mm. Particularly nice with the 15mm crew although I doubt that the good people at Eureka ever considered this possibility...

Well done, Sir!

Nice Work TC

Thanks for posting your pictures. I bought both this and the Hartleibepanzerhochrad (Hardlove's Armoured Penny Farthing) to use for my 15mm Confederates. I had intented to use it as some kind of command vehicle but the idea of using it as a scout vehicle sounds better. I think I'll mount a Gatling Gun on it.

I was thinking of a gatling on one side and an electronmagnet-thingy on the other perhaps?  That would aid the scout role by detecting enemy land-ironclads!

Good conversion work.

I showed this to Nic of Eureka Miniatures who said:
"A lovely piece of work, my congratulations to the builder."

Thanks again chaps. I'm glad it's been a wee bit of inspiration for you.

Barry, funnliy enough I've got an armoured penny farthing on the shelf too, I think I'll follow your lead and use it as a command vehicle.

Tas, thats's high praise from Nick. You can assure him I have put one of the Hardlove chairs to it's proper use for the 25/28mm games.
