I love the Kroot/Zouave conversions!  Oh, the joys of multipart plastics! :D

Perhaps there is a place on Venus for some Chivalrous expatriots of the Confereracy to come to the rescue of those fine Venusian Amazons.

I made my first attempt at a Venusian Amazon Cavalrywoman today. I used components from the Wargames Factory Amazon Warrior, and Roman Cavalry sets, as well as a Games Workshop Cold One from a Lizardman Cavalry set.

For VSF they will need some sort of ranged weapon to survive!

Looking at the design of their spears, a decent paint job (i.e. painting the hollows in the blades as some sort of energy/crystal) would gice them nice energy staves .... just a thought ;)

Or very dense jungle terrain and/or stealth ability.

Gracias,

Glenn

I finally finished painting the first two samples for my Venusian Amazon Cavalry Unit. I'm very pleased with the results, and am looking forward to doing the other eight members of the unit.

You've done a good job on those.  When I first saw the mount I though 'meh' but you've certainly made a crappy figure look good.

Those look great with some paint on them!  :-*

It's amazing what a good paint job can do.

Nice work!
