Painted Kip Kincaid and Sarah Litmus
« on: December 29, 2007, 08:44:37 PM »
A local painter, Tom Hoffmann, painted up a set of Kip Kincaid and Sarah Litmus for our Fantastic Worlds rules. I just got them today and I think they look great. Figured I would share a picture of them (Tom also painted up a Griff Ingram and a Gargoyle and Jade Hood and you can see those in the Rattrap Store)

Also, these figures are 28mm and correctly proportioned. They fit in well with Pulp Figures, Brigade Games, and Bronze Age figures. They will look small compared to other companies' Heroic 28s or 32s.

Lovely! I really like the green & white scheme.

Figures for Fantastic Worlds are definitely on my "Urgent" must-have list  & these are right at the top

Happily I have plenty of figures for the Broadsword Adventures playtesting :D

Very nice colour scheme and the painted version shows off Sarah's face much better than the bare metal version does.

Great choice in colours, really makes for a retro pulp feel!  :)

I always try and get a painted and bare metal version of all our figures up at some point. It satisfies both camps that way.  :)

Yeah, there's kind of a reminiscence of the Jade Hood's hodded minions there

Like them. Must try to get some money hoarded up in my VISA account for a Rattrap order. Quite a nice bunch of minis you have gathered there by now  8)

They are great!

However, I think retro-sci-fi miniatures should be more colourful (think Flash Gordon)

I know what you are saying, and I'm sure others will paint them with that scheme. I wanted them to stand out as being their own characters and not copies, so I wanted a different color scheme.

Then the objective is truly achieved...  :)
