Trenching made easy
« on: February 16, 2012, 04:53:58 PM »

Had a bash with some resin cast sandbags and planking from my fave caster - me! Also finally used an old bag of mod rock. Think it worked quite well.

Fascinating stuff I'm sure you'll agree.  ::)

Mud pie making  :o

Final result is very effective - these would work for a buried trench as well.

Nice one

That's looking good. I wouldn't mind having a go at that myself. How many of your kits would I need to replicate that, and how big is its 'footprint'?

Thanks chaps.

There's six pieces of sandbag bag wall, and two "caps" (end pieces) and a couple of pieces of planking to the model I've made there - so less than one sandbag kit (nine pieces per pack), less than one pack of planking (three pieces per pack) and a bag of  caps ( a pair per pack). £17 quid in total with some spare pieces, or a larger model.

Good stuff mate! Can't say I have a use for it at this current moment in time, but it'll be something to keep in mind for the future!  :D
