He is great. But the sword looks ridiculous.

I like him a lot. He has Apollo written all over him, but agreed, the sword needs to be swapped out, for maybe a bow?

I would vote for bow, a sword just doesn't work. A spear may work, too.

Nice and interesting subject.
I remember there was some Neptune somewhere but still I cannot locate him.

Is this the one?

I love your link btw. I'll add it when I have more time. Leaving in a few minutes to get a game in with Sterling Moose!

Or a lyre. I think that Reaper has one in a musical instrument pack. Could work for Orpheus too. Heres the link to the product code btw. http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/demon/sku-down/03086#detail/03086_G He's listed as a giant interestingly enough.

With Reaper, the sword are often big, extra-long and unwieldy.... o_o
Lots of their figurines need a change for a descent sword.

I was just revisiting the excellent catalogue from Tin Man Miniatures, my interested rekindled with the release of John Carter. I think that either of these two could pass for Aprhodite, much better than the sad excuse that Foundry just put out.

Good call (and I agree the fugly Foundry mini is laughable as the goddess of love).

Sorry this not the Neptune I had in mind. If I remember well (memory fades with the age) it was a Neptune on some sort of chariot, But never mind, This is also nice.
