Very nice.
The little roof at the back looks a bit wonky though  :?:

Superb Work!

I got a comment from someone living in Carentan not far from the building!

It's a 100% Approval!

Cheers,

Olivier

Thanks guys!  It's not 100% complete as I'm still looking for a couple of suitable road signs for the front, and a big poster for the rear corner (next to the Normandie ship).  There is a specific poster that they used in the Band of Brothers episode, and I'm still looking for it!

@Matakishi - the roof over the small outhouse (kitchen?) doesn't seem to sit very well.  Will have to glue a triangular support one of these days.

@Sgt Perry - that's very interesting, to have a positive comment from someone living in Carentan!  Is it the guy who runs the 101 Airborne association?

WOW, just fantastic. Are the bricks around the windows and doors painted or somehow 'sculpted'?
You should consider weathering the posters on the walls, they look a little too clean for my liking!

keep it up. Do you plan bringing your Carentan to BB on day? I'd like to see it with my own hands and play a game or two in this little town!

cheers

Dominic, you could probably get away with using some of the smaller Tamiya roadsigns? Or for an even better range, Verlinden:

I know they're 1/35 not 1/48 or 1/50, but I think you'd get away with it. A fantastic range of signs, posters etc.

@Capt Blood - thanks for that tip!  The Verlinden signs are exactly what I need!! I could buy the 1/35 ones, scan them and reduce them to the correct size!!

@Zoogla - sure, I will bring the village to BB one day (when/if) it gets completed!!  We can then have a big Carentan bash!

Looks great.

The Carentan table is going to be something quite special when it's done.
