I don't recognise either sets of minis either. Particularly interested in the marines.

"Marines" up top are Reaper Chronoscope minis.

Second set are (I believe) by Calivade Wargames from their "Famtasy Armies of the Far East line. Linky

Nice work Old Coast, I enjoy the muted colors. I really like the tones on your Hirst Arts terrain, I may use that on my own starship interior :)

The oriental orcs are indeed available from Cavalcade. I obtained mine quite a few years ago when Olley's Armies sold them. Thank goodness for the LPL or they would still be unpainted I think.

The lone samurai is a Clan Wars miniature, from the 'Yojimbo' pack if I recall correctly.

Like your first round entry these are fantastic Dr. Mathias in both color and detail.
I am psyched to see the rest of your entries this year.

Ooh, tough call!
Both are really well done, though different in atmosphere.

Dr. Mathias, where did those sakura trees come from?

I made the trees from scratch. The secret to obtaining the blossom effect involves spray painting glitter  o_o

Think we'll need an explanation for spray painting glitter, or at least I do  :D
Those trees are amazing.

Both entries really nicely painted. Would like to vote for them both

What a tough, tough match-up! Love the muted tones on the Reaper Marines (and do I see Rex Eleven skulking in the background, carefully aiming his shotgun at somebody's head?), and the armour in the Blossoms entry is beautifully done. So different, but both so good - the painting, the backdrop, the overall scene, and the sense of narrative in each entry. Love them! The best match-up so far as far as I'm concerned, as it really highlights what the LPL is all about. Wonderful!
