Another Creature sculpt
« on: March 11, 2012, 01:38:33 PM »
Hi Everyone,

Started this last night while watching the football  :)

One of the eyes  has come off the back and needs replacing..

Don't know what's its supposed to be but, what do you think?

Scale shot,

Thanks
George

I assume only a part of the body is visible, with the rest being underground? If so, the area were it's supposed to burst from the ground should get some more detail, like cracked earth or something, otherwise it just looks like a big burlap sack ;)

Also, the round mouth in the middle of the tentacles should be given either a cephalopod-like beak or small teeth all around.

Yeah, he was supposed to be bursting from beneath the ground.  I might have a go at a few  bases showing it braking through different types of ground like Earth/ concrete and wood. Thanks for the idea  :)

Busy working on a beak as I type this  ( just having a 5min break  ;) )

thanks
George

I like it!! Maybe you can do the same thing that you did with the worm, different optións for the mouth: a beak, an eye, teeth or more tentacles.

Definitely.  Bursting through floorboards would be very cool.
