Nice painting on those dwarves!

Thanks, and now that my Pendraken order has come in, they have some more shorties to keep them company (along with a dapper halfling with a big old club):

I've also got some elves and a firepit painted up:

A Pendraken Sewer Beast:

I've got a pantload of ratmen painted up as well.  I'll post them here once I get a chance to snap some pictures of them.

A few more Pendraken figures ready to post:

Ratmen, but I don't know which ones these are, as I got them in a set called the Rat King's Lair dungeon pack.  I think they are FR1 - Rats with polearms - but could be wrong.

Also have a couple of pack mules done:

The level of detail on the minis & the skilled brushwork necessary to bring it out is TRULY AMAZING...VERY WELL DONE!

Extremely nice painting for small scale minis :)

Lovely redwall feeling to those ratmen.

Thanks for all the encouragement, guys.  These Pendraken figures are so well carved, it's a real pleasure to paint them.  Love these face shields.

I'd really like to see one of those ratmen next to a Pendraken human figure...

Your wish is my command, and I'll even do you one better.  Here is a comparison of multiple manufacturers, too:

From left to right: Copplestone Castings warrior, Irregular Miniatures dismounted knight, and three Pendraken figures, an elf, large rat with sword, and small rat with spear.  The Irregular figures would work great as line troops, but they just don't have enough personality for skirmish.  This also shows that Pendraken's small rats aren't shorter than their cousins, they're just a lot thinner.  They look like mice to me.  Redwall indeed.

New troops ready for the table.  This time around it's a Harryhausen special:
