A fantastic sculpt!
« on: January 16, 2008, 02:56:05 PM »
Saw this on Frothers:

What a fantastic sculpt! I particularly like the facial expression, but the execution overall is wonderful.

It's a little bit big at 35mm, but I demand someone snap up this sculpt and put it on the market.

Also contains CMON link with even bigger picture.

That really is beautiful!  :o

Shame he's so big, really. Tempting, even though.

Good, cause I really enjoy constructive trademark Frother critisism about new miniatures like this (quote):

"True, but thats only because I've been shagging that open wound in your abdomen which has started to fester. I should wash afterwards or I'll end up with an infection."

Edit: I agree, BTW, it is a very, very nice sculpt. Looks like the arch nemesis of the protestant Assassin in Clogs.

I think this guy just has to hear "Protestant" and he sends a handful of swordsmen in for the kill.

He doesn't say anything. He just snaps his fingers and points, and you hear the slither of Toledo steel sliding from scabbards.

...and the clatter of a pair of Dutch clogs rapidly disappearing into the shadows...

Well, the Redoubt Cardinal I have is nearly that size as well, so I suppose I could fit him in.

It's good that someone is able to withstand Frothers and report back with interesting news, so the rest of us don't have to :)
