The Zombie looks good to me, necrocannibal!
Never seen that one before.
Very nice.
 :-*

I do sympathize regarding the zombie flesh.
I have FINALLY finished one of my own. It had been on the painting table for ages, but I was not satisfied with it. I kept going back and altering things, to no avail.
I have decided that it now looks as good as it is going to, so have accepted that as a finished product.
It is a zombie after all, they cant look too good, can they?
 ;)

Well, death does that to people.

Thanks. I still want to paint one more Zombie this week, but I don't know if I'll make it before the SA game next Saturday.

I think that is one of the best things is that the skin can be of many different colors and types...so no two zombies may not be the same in look.

I think it looks good  :)
A while ago I made a "zombie flesh" step-by-step tutorial  on my blog to show how I painted my Secrets of the Third Reich/Incursion zombies. I also use the same steps to paint all zombie flesh regardless of game.

You can check it out if you feel you have trouble with zombie flesh and want to try a different approach

Very nice looking Zombie...the base colors I use are about the same, but with the woman zombie, I somehow had a bad day at painting miniatures. This next zombie looks a lot better to be honest...I think he was a hunter or something like that, before half his head was turned into raw meat.

Sick!
In the best possible sense, of course.

You have done a great job on making him look 'fresh'

Thanks again, I'm quite pleased with that Zombie...he really looks horrible (in a good and sickening way).
Here's something different, it's a piece of scenery by Rusty Rail...really nice and detailed, but it's quite difficult to paint as it has a lot of holes, gaps and stuff like that where normal paint won't go. I used a lot of watered down paints and washes...still I'm pleased with the results, this picture doesn't really show all the nice little details very clearly (rusty cans, broken chair/ table, beer bottles etc.).

That looks like a really nice piece, necrocannibal.
Well painted and good use of scenics.

I think I will have to check Rusty Rail out.
Thanks for the tip!

Great looking terrain, well done!
Im imagining a secret trap door under those exposed floorboards leading to a long-forgotten basement...  :)

Something small this time...a wooden Barrel.

It'll be a while before I post another SA model because now I'm painting a 40K model, Typhus Heral of Nurgle, to see if I want to start a Death Guard army.

Nice barrel, nc.
You may want to consider a wash of a dark brown as that would really bring out the woodgrain.

Nothing wrong with it, as is, but that would take it to the next level.

It was time to paint something for Strange Aeons again. Just bought some scenery at Crisis 2012 in Antwerp and painted this Dog House, really fun to paint. It's not really clear in this picture, but I gave some boards a different color (green, red and yellow) and I gave some parts an appearance of algae growth. One thing I still have to do is add some water to the bowl.
