Who makes that piece? Gotta have me a doghouse!
Mike D

It's made by a German company called Stronghold Terrain (http://www.stronghold-terrain.de/). It's pretty big though, I think a closer to 30mm than 28mm. But to be honest, a monstrously big guard dog will fit in nicely in a game like SA.

I may have to grab one, that could make a nice scene of horror, the rabid dog with bodies laying around..

Great to see Matthijs! Cool stuff...really nice you're painting Cthulhu stuff again. Your Deathguard models are nicely painted, just don't like the subject matter. Cthulhu FTW!

Thanks, that would also be a great idea...a huge rabid dog would indeed be pretty scary.

Thanks. Even though I love Deathguard, I don't really like painting models like that. Painting a whole army just isn't my cup of tea...I like to paint a lot of different models instead of a whole bunch of the same stuff, I get bored really quickly. Also I still have a big amount of Strange Aeons related models lying around that need to be painted, so I'll be painting those in between my Deathguard things.
This was a bit of a breath of fresh air...I really, really needed that!

Thanks! To be honest I only used some drybrushing, a few washes, couple of glazes and some weathering...that's all. I don't like to use fancy techniques if I can get things looking decent with a minimum amount of work. I added some water to the bowl, but ended up removing it again...the stuff I use shrinks like crazy, I have to look around to find some better water or just leave it out entirely.

That pretty much sums up my attitude to painting scenery, too!

Ah...new scenery. Just finished these Standing Stones (made by Ainsty). At first glance they're very simple models, but once painted they show a surprising amount of detail. I really like these.

Maybe next time I'll finish one of my Lurker models...a Ghost.

Very nice, Necrocannibal!
Very realistic.

I think that everyone could and should have a Stone Circle for their SA scenery collection.
I am adding it to my list.

What an awesome thread necro. Some georgously painted minis.
I'd love to see a pic of your table all set up for a game.

The standing stones look nice. Shouldn't be too hard to build some yourself either..I'll be keeping an eye open to see which of my neighbours has slate in their front garden  :D

Thanks...I made a thread for a contest hosted by Styx that has an AAR movie along with some pictures. I have more scenery now of course. http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=40817.0

That thread needed a bump. Lovely set up you have. I'm always surprised at how little terrain you actually need to play on a 3x2 table. I must get a move on with a few pieces of my own.
