"Army of the Dead" at Poundland
« on: March 29, 2012, 10:03:12 AM »
Just a quick heads-up to let you know that Poundland have copies of "Army of the Dead" and the zombie film "Wasting Away" on sale (here at my local branch anyway) new and still in their cellophane for the grand sum of £1.00 each.  Not sure as to the quality of these movies but have bought a copy of AotD to watch this evening - I'll let you know if it's any good.

Poundland is always worth a look, I find a lot of nice remaindered toys and DVDs in there.

I had to drop in to Poundland again this a.m and all the copies of "Army of the Dead" and "Wasting Away" had gone!  As there were about 7 x copies of each I think that you might see alot of these cropping up on E-bay?

They did have some "Torchwood" action figures for those who are interested.  Oh, and some "Tron" die-cast vehicles (I should really get a job in sales for these guys).

Well, I've just watched "Army of the Dead" and I must say that the disc makes a very good coaster.

I was!  The only other good thing to come out of it (bar the coaster) was the idea for some Conquistador style skeleton warriors.  I have some Wargames Factory skeletons and I just need to find some armour for them, especially the helmets.  Any ideas?
