Thanks Shieldwolf. I knew their website. I was just surprised not to see them on the OP list.
Thanks anyway.

Khadrin

Apologies Khadrin, I didn't mean it as a "smart" move or intended that you didn't know them, I only posted the websites urls so people can visit them easier/quicker. If you want I can simply delte/edit my post  ???

Splintered Light and Magister Militum were added yesterday (but I forgot to post about it) and for now, I've noted the Cipher change, by adding the URL. Once we know for sure what Soda Pop is doing with the lines, I can update it further.

Hi,

I just wanted to bring some attention to this little Spanish miniature company.

They have a very nice human and dwarf 28mm. fantasy range.

I've got some high-quality resin figures inspired by Slavic folklore (Baba Yaga, Vlad the Impaler, etc.) available at my company's kickstarter here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1098010653/slavic-fantasy-miniatures-by-deraj-studios

Let me know what y'all think. Also if any mods think that this post should be moved to another forum thread or deleted by all means do so, I don't mean to intrude.

Sincerely,
Anderson of Deraj Studios

I signed up for the one figure deal. If Baba Yaga's house is as cool as the concept art I may have to go all in.

On a side note, my wife is a Russian speaking Ukrainian named Yana and I like to tease her that one day she's going to be Baba Yana. Not sure why but that amuses the hell out of me, her not so much.  lol

Thank you for the support! I'm currently working securing a sculptor on the miniature so hopefully I'll have that to show you sooner rather than later.

Hi Deraj, do you have a formal store of some kind open? I don't really include kickstarter campaigns - just permanent shops. Especially since many of the miniatures don't actually exist yet!

Once you're more settled, I'd be happy to add your stuff to the list.

Only dwarf range I ever bought (then I Bought some Asgard good dwarfs later, but yours are the only painted ones.) reckon I'll have to expand the band.

I'd like to suggest you might add to the list Viking Forge Miniatures in the US who picked up a lot of the old Asgard Miniatures ranges.

Some of Asgard's late (1970s) stuff was pretty crude I'd agree ('though as somebody who grew up in Nottingham and started wargaming around 1978 they are fondly remembered!), but their early 1980s Fantasy Orcs range (sculpted by a young pre-GW Jes Goodwin) were a major step forward and I'd suggest are some of the best orcs/goblins ever produced - these figures are simply oozing with character and malice!

http://www.thevikingforge.net/25mm-fantasy-orcs.html

And in light of a recent discussion thread here on LAF about "Orcs and the "gamefication" of Middle Earth" (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=86688.0) these miniatures are hunched over, bow-legged and slant-eyed and I'd argue fit the brief perfectly for "Tolkien-style" orcs/goblins!

Cheers, Mark
