Silflor Grass Tufts
« on: January 19, 2008, 02:27:07 PM »
Following the recent discussion on using these tufts. In case anyone missed it this was posted by Antenociti on the Steve Deen forum:

Well the good news is that we will have Silflor in stock within 2- 3 weeks.

We will have:

2mm, 4mm & 6mm in four different colours (spring, summer, early autumn, late autumn) then the new 2-tone grass in short and long ( i think that is 2mm and 4mm actually, but will clarify when they get here) for each season - so a total of 20 different types in all.

Prices: from £12.54p to £15.90p per box (full size sheet, boxed, 42cm x 15cm)

that compares to £17.00 and £20.00 at International Models, so a saving of £4.46 to £4.10 per box (26% - 20.5%)... which I think is a pretty good reduction.

How can you have come this far without discovering Antenociti?

It's my first stop for miscellaneous hobby gear (where I get much of my basing stuff and Testors Gloss and Dull cote from, too).

I thought the Antenociti fella's name was Jed, not Pat. Theoldschool also refers to Antenociti as "they" which would lead me to believe that he isn't connected with them.

I can categorically say I am not Antenociti :)
However, like Pynkes they are my first port of call for most of my supplies.
