We will see :) I probaly won't use any of the original characters, I have the rogue miniatures one.
Great project. I guess you have all the figures you need but Regiment Games has some nice Arctic types in their Ice Station Zebra range.

These are interesting, and I might include them, thanks  :D

If I can get it done by then, and also if I can get som kind of gamemechanics to work for the game. There will be more Fallout (hopefully with more evenly balanced rules than last time ;)  ).

:) Feedback on ideas, new ideas etc is always a good idea.
Another idea would be that the players should draw an infection card at the begining of the game for their main character to see if one of them starts as a "thing". Infection markers could also be a source of infection cards, in tense situations like blood tests etc the cards are revealed, or something like that.
Many ideas loose ideas, but no concrete rules.
Painting terrain that can be used for both The thing and my fallout project at the moment, lots of barrels, first aid cabinets fire extinguishers, weapons lockers etc.

I am sure the worm head fellow was part of the Frothers sculpting challenge. They were on sale for a short period but are no longer available.

It's a shame Frothers doesn't sell these miniatures (and other contest miniatures) all year long.

I think the rights to the sculpts go back to the sculptors.I am sure some have made it into other ranges.

Yes some were bought by Hasslefree or Fenris but the others vanished in the warp.

That's great; I was on the same project a few monthes ago...I took copplestone casting figures for artic workers (including "mac ready"). My "thing" come from urban mammoth creature (don't know the name"). My artic base is a copy of ct scenery. I will take photoes if you want to compare.
Just a question: the two troopers, are they "four A miniatures"?...Because I got the platoon of 12 soldier and it would be great if there are more...
