My Burrows and Badgers warband
« on: July 23, 2015, 09:46:42 PM »
I've finally got enough models painted to field a warband... finally playtesting will be in Technicolour!  :D

I also used some of the resin terrain from the Kickstarter to make them a display base:

cheers
Michael

They look splendid.

Couldn't get the alpha rules to download on our old steam computer.

The Anthropomorphic Crew are UBERCOOL, AND BEAUTIFULLY painted with suitably LOVELY bases to add to the effect. VERY WELL DONE!

Awe-inspiring painting! I love the way you blend the shades together, where I am still pretty much stuck with the three-tone system. You inspire us wannabe painters to try to up our game.

Cheers,    --- Phil, admiratively

Thanks everyone! I enjoyed doing them; I don't get a lot of time for painting, as there's always sculpting to be done, so it was fun to get some paint slapped on these. I haven't painted a fox yet though - I really want to paint a fox...

Couldn't get the alpha rules to download on our old steam computer.

It might be because it's a zipped file - I've got direct links too if that helps:

Core rules:
http://www.mediafire.com/view/g7ngikaj06s2bpk/burrows-and-badgers-rules-alpha.pdf

Scenarios:
http://www.mediafire.com/view/y1ozdr7n86fzpp2/burrows-and-badgers-scenarios-alpha.pdf

Roster sheet:
http://www.mediafire.com/view/ycd4lgb5gdc88v6/burrows-and-badgers-warband-roster.pdf

...and totally unnecessary short fiction:
http://www.mediafire.com/view/vwi3nmlm39knigt/fiction-_gromley.pdf

Hope that helps!

Once we've got some more playtesting in, we'll change what needs changing (like remembering to add throwing knives to the starting equipment lists!) and upload a new version, but this one should get you going.

I've always been tempted by these different anthropomorphic warbands.

You've done a brilliant job of it!!!!

I really like these - fantastic "realism" in the sculpts and painting.
