Great work again Mike! Gives a new meaning to frogmen!

Tough match up guys really like both of these.

Sweet entries! I like the clarity and colors popping out of the brown Old Coast... nice!

Mike, that is a clever idea, and slitting the fabric is brilliant. Well done!

Both of these are nicely done!

I'll echo again, slicing the fabric for the frogs is brilliant.
I love those splintered light frogs

Thanks, folks! I was hoping the idea of cutting slits in the fabric and pushing them up through it would work out.  I wanted to be able to have the frogs at different levels of "surfacing." It is actually two fabrics.  There is a cool, jungle-like, patterned dark green one underneath and a blue "sheer" over top.

I do like how the glare off of the sheer gives it a look like light reflecting on water.  Thanks for the kind thumbs up on how it turned out!

Good luck! I think with 32 points on the Leaderboard between you and the #21 spot, you should be good. Our race is so tight that we'll both get max vote points, I think.

In the same vein, I was hoping to finish out with a 4-6 record.  After starting 1-5, I wanted to hit the end on a strong note in my first Lead Painters League.  It has been a blast, and I honestly feel I've learned a number of things.  Pushing myself each week to improve my paint jobs and photography has helped me grow as a painter, I feel.

Your entry is great, and the type of panorama I expected to see more of this round!  Thanks again for the praise on mine -- I appreciate it!
