I'll be buying Playmobil for my girls! Definitely! Must be the way to gúide them into gaming

In my father's attic, I have a castle and some medieval houses from the late 70's - before Playmobil medievals got the 'cuddly toy disease'. Must get them out, too!!

Do you mean the ones with silver armour and orange shields and cloaks?

Ok I accept that you might need large numbers, but this one is unbelievable :

Did I hear it right when the commentator said the marching column is 200 metres long ?

Allowing for the wagons and pack mules, there must be about 6000 Romans in this column... I'll have to play it again and see if I can hear the numbers involved over the sound of my jaw dropping open.

I actually have two of those - but, no, the next generation that went with their almost 'real'-looking medieval buildings/castles.

Did that include a baron set where the baron had a very fancy chair and a brown fur scarf type thing?

I think so, but I think the 'scarf' was meant to be a fur collar/lapels thing.

The square tower in the background looks right (as do some of the buildings),

The walls in the foreground are later...
