Wow! Thanks for the replies! :)

I've been on the Ainsty/old Crow site loads of times and have never noticed the boat. Excellent stuff!

I'm going to have to trawl the toy shops ( like I do already!) to see if I can find any suitable bits aswell.

I'll keep you posted if I find anything.

Frenchman River Model Works sells nice O guage waterline models of a utility boat and a lobster boat.  They are excellent kits but priced a little more than most wargaming models!  He also sells some great accessories to place in your marina!

And the Revell 1:24 scale Batboat can be converted to 28mm by fairing over the cockpit, and by being transformed to a power boat.

As I do live around those sea sidey places I had a quick look in the local newsagents and found:

speedboats towed by 4x4 for £3.99,
fishing boats,
a few correct scale jetskis.

So there's stuff about you just need to look.

Good luck

Just saw were Amera is doing some boats and such, and thought of this thread!

Looks promising.

Don't rightly know the scale though.

The fishing boat may be OK. I think the trawler will be a tad on the small side with only a length of 33 cm.

This one is about 40 cm:

Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Amera plastic mouldings http://www.amera.co.uk/product.php?range=w

just brought out a few boats out of vacuum moulded plastic. They might need some work, but you'll have a (cheap) underground.

Although honestly, I don't know the scale...  Tho do however have a lot of other nice stuff

The Amera Plastic fishing boat would be 4.5"wide x 13"long. It seems like it might work. If anyone does get one I would love to know if it is the right scale for 28mm.
