Thanks. I made the Asylum diorama a few years ago to enter Iron Painter contest. I thought it could be a good idea to use it for a Cthulhu inspired story.

As I am painting Cthulhu mythos creatures and cultists for my games I should post more photos in this thread.

I already have all the Threshold agents I need as I will use my Copplestone miniatures collection which are all painted.

Thanks to all of you for your nice comments and especially many thanks to Necrocannibal and Anatoli : without your advices I wouldn't be able to make this film. I have to admit that your films were a fantastic source of inspiration and I love them too.

About the scenery in the color pictures...wow, just wow...words can't describe the awesomeness of it all, I think the temple with pond and the asylum are just mindblowing. I wish I could make scenery like that, but I'm really crap at it.

Thanks Necrocannibal. You know, making sceneries is far more easy than painting miniatures IMHO.

I started my first scenery 20 years ago to play Mordheim games. I browsed the web, read books,...once you master the basic techniques you can do whatever you want and there are lots of websites with tutorials or inspiration. But now I don't make large sceneries anymore as I don't know where to stock them (in fact I know but my wife doesn't share the same opinion...). I mainly build modular sceneries instead of large boards for the same reason.

Wow. What an amazing job! The level of the contest is realy high and it's a pleasure to watch all these AAR. I think to post one myself but I have to work on it a little more if I don't want to be ridiculous after that.
