Here is the scoop on this one.
I have a grand plan in my mind of starting my own business at some point down the line, building terrain and casting it in resin. I'm also working with some other folks on producing masters, so I'm super excited about that.

The problem is,  I am really good at taking a damn long time to finish anything. My plan on this was to see how quickly I could get something done.
Now for casting, all I would need is to build the building, no paint and stuff. That took me just a week, so that's good to hear. The rest I had planned on taking another week to do, but a severe cold snap in town kept me from going outside to do the sawing and sanding. However, it warmed up to about 25f, so I got out to get it done, and managed to finish the entire piece in 17 days.

The other thing is, I don't particularly care for these photos, since it was raining, the lighting was pretty bad. I'll fix it in the spring, I'm just not going to bother through the rest of winter, the results will just be the same.

Anyhow, bla bla bla. I hope you guys like the piece, drop by and vote me for world domination 2008.
Cheers!

17 days?  :o  That'd take me 17 weeks, at the very least! Nicely done! Waiting to see more.

Cheers!

Well, if you can turn out stuff that good, there should be a ready market to sell & soon start making some money!

Very realistic "ricketty" look to the building & impressive attention to detail with the garden.

I look forward to more of the same     :D

When people want to know what a ramshackle cottage looks like, I'll show them this.

Great work. The pumpkins in the patch are a nice touch, and I really like that garden wall.

Soo beautiful!

That hosue would be lovely alone on a hill on a rainy night....  8)

If you cast them I will buy.

And I also like the garden, a very nice vegetable patch... and the garden wall....  I'd buy the lot.

Fantastic post! I'd love to model rain, if it was possible. I can model wet, quite easily, but not raining. That would be quite the feat!
Nice imagination though.
