Frankly, I quite like Redoubt's "Dog cocking his leg and having a wee" in their body's bits animals section.

Some baad goggies. Not prolly what the OP had in mind but, well, they are 28mm scale and they are dogs, at least sort of.

Okay a wee bit of necromancy again... but...

Does anyone know where a chap can get a 28mm Elkhound, or soemthing approximating? Copplestone do have a husky that looks remarkably like one in their Inuit Hunter range, as it has a perfect curly tail, but sadly £6.50 is steep for one mini since I probably wouldn't use the Inuits (unless I keep them aside for potential Cthulhu-esque gaming...). Besides I'd rather pick up a handful if possible; Once for a viking leader's base, and maybe some more to base individually. I've read they have been used by the Norse as hunting dogs for around 6,000 years.

If you need but one I can probably provide.

Anvil Industry's "Stim-hounds" (no idea what that means exactly) aren't very pulp (depending on what "pulp" means of course) but they might work for a scifi game -- they prolly the best option for my Defiance PDF list K-9 Scouts (http://heros.netai.net/files/PDF.pdf) at least.

So, I've not been back to this thread in awhile, but here is a contribution:

http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/Chronoscope/sku-down/50314

When I got mine, I based Toto separate from Dorothy.  Toto has a bigger part in the movie than he does in the book, but having him separate gives more options?

Wonderful suggestions.  I have the Reaper Bulldogs.  I had to carve a great deal of flash and filler from the legs.  The standing figure is painted up, and because he is so large I use him as Tink (don't call him Tinkerbell) the worlds largest bulldog.
