And I don't mean space marines.

Jessica Alba. Black leather. Cyberpunk-opera. Nuff said.

Any minis based on that tv-show out there?

Doesn't Hasselfree have a bunch of leather clad female ultra-modern adventurers?  I have never watched the show but maybe those would be close.

I had Hasslefree rumbling in the back of my head while writing the post - I just thought I'd ask around.

Thanks, both of you - my craving for those Hasslefree galz just grow more accentuated  8)

I think Hasslefree has some good minis you could probably use...

Actually, another nice alternative would be Jim Bowens Corporate World minis from East Riding miniatures

Just bewarned Hasslefree and ERM's Corporate World stuff do not mix very well. Jim Bowen, as always, sculpts huge figures.

Humans aren't all the same height

I like those ERM. They even have some Aliens I might consider (given the absence of 'real' movie aliens). They even have face-huggers with guns  :o  Now, who got THAT weird idea???

Nope. I may be wrong, but the ERM figs seem tall and slender (from the pics)?

OK, having just compared them side-to-side, I suppose the size difference isn't THAT bad. In fact, if you make sure to put the ERM ones on low bases (or file down their integral bases), they'll be almost at the same eye-level as the Hasslefree ones on their slottabases.

They still differ in bulk. It's true the ERM ones are fairly slender, but the Hasslefree ones are more slender. The heads are different sizes too. Still, it's not that big a deal.

I'd mix the two ranges. This might not be saying much as I've been known to use 32mm and 25mm figures in the same game (with some care), but I also think most other gamers would mix these two particular ranges without fretting the size difference too much.

Okies, I think I'm going to buy some of those Europol (Interpol?) troopers for keeping some law and order (as if!) in my zombie-infested cities of the near future  :D

Yeah, Jim Bowens minis a a bit heftier than the finely small Hasselfree, but the ERM stuff is 28mm...not his 40mm Monolith stuff (which is still freaking awesome).

I have all the Slicks and a few of the others, and feel they fit in nicely.
