A foretaste of a more than usual whimsical project I am working on:

The Club's current Protectress, Lady Louise Scotlass-Dough, Dowager Duchess of Nutherland, with her English Foxhounds Castor and Pollux.

Lovely stuff Hammers :D  Everything is spot on, I Particularly like the long grass.  :)
However the grass is hiding her Wellington boots, so I cannot see if she is wearing green or blue Hunters

Great tartan on the skirt and patterns on the doggies. But I'd stay away from milady! She probably also smokes a pipe and has heads on the wall.

I love it. Where did the mini come from? Can you tell us more about what the project is about?

The mini is a Not Queen Elizabeth II, listed as "Lizzy", I think, at Hasslefree. I don't know where the mutts are from. Had them for ages.

The rest you will hear about eventually if you, as they say, stay tuned.

They are actually black wellies. I went back a bit to see what they would look like in the 30ies.

Like the asylum minis, excellent stuff!  Love the bases for Marbles and the pug - how did you do them?

This is brilliant!   Excellently painted too.

So is the idea to find dogs that look like their owners? The Col and Potiphar ceratinly bear a resemblance to one another.

They are 25mm washers. The pug washer was cut and filed into a cresent shape so it fit around the Col's base. I've done that with several dog bases to make them stand closer to their masters.
