Oh yeah, I think your right. Thanks.  :D

So they are a pretty good size. About 30 mm, but a lot taller if they'd correct their bad posture.

The nice thing is you could trim that off without any problems.

I agree, they're excellent minis, but do you know which range they're from, as finding anything without a name on the Reaper site is a bit of a chore.

Dark Heaven Legends.  My first guess was Chronscope, but I was wrong.  Took 42 seconds to find from the home page starting to load - I timed myself.  Sometimes, things aren't as difficult as we anticipate.

Not exactly. More like 12.5mm. That is, half an inch and one inch for the top one.

Thanks Steve F. I guess I should have let people know that.

Awesome, I was hoping they would be on the bigger side.  :D

Nice and all but a bit stretchy armed scooby do monster to be honest. the Devonian era armoured fish heads are nice but Fenris Games have done them better...about two years previously, (still available from Ian through the website).

The Fenris ones struck me as rather more comical than this.  Currently, Fenris's ebay store only lists a couple of Shoggoths under "minatures", anyway - like the adventurers it has always been  "If you're in the know, you can contact the owner personally and beg for the fishmen," which has always struck me as a shockingly bad way of doing business.  It's a huge stain on Eureka's copybook too.

Well, isn't it kind of fitting that you have to be a member of a secretive underground society to get these forbidden items?

I really liked the Fenris games' sculpts as well, but:

I have got to go with Steve F on this one.

Personally I like my Deep Ones a little more stocky and flabby, but I thought these where great sculpts.

Yeah, I love these!

I'm a big fan of Fenris' stuff usually, but not their 'Deep Ones'...as above folks said, a bit too comical.

To be honest, there aren't ANY Deep Ones made by any manufacturer that I feel capture my idea of 'deep ones'.  Some aren't too far off, but I'm looking for something a bit more like this:

More humaniod, evil, yet fish/froggy.

But they are fine as comical fishmen: if I ever get round to modelling "The Fishmen of Kandalinga" (a story from the first Doctor Who annual), they'll be high on my list of possibilities.
