Thanks guys!

These are 1/60th Westwind models.  But beware!  The casting quality is very poor.  Lots of bubbles and flash, and I had to spend a lot of time cutting, filing and placing stowage in strategic places to hide the defective casting!

On the plus side, the tanks each come with a cool commander figure.  But on one of the tanks, I replaced the commander with a BAM figure.  I think you can tell which one.

Cheers!

Hi Dom,

Great work on the Shermans. What plans do you have for these? 8)

Best Wishes.

@Helen - this is the platoon that links up with Easy company at Nuenen.  When warned about a Tiger up ahead, the commander says "Well, if I caun't see them, I caun't bloody well shoot them, can I?"

Amazing stuff. I really like the material on the middle barrel. Treads, commanders, highlights. All of them look awesome!

Thanks again!

@Paul - As I said at Crisis, I'm waiting for some lovely BAM castings!

@Severus - The material on the Firefly barrel is just tissue paper reinforced with PVA.  It's there to hide a very deep and ugly casting line which I couldn't remove!
