Cheers! They'll be available from the Crooked Dice web store sometime in the first week of July.

Another FAL. Still those look nice and depending on price point I might pick a few up. Would be nice if they came as sprues of the same weapon tho'.

From a business view-point the mixed sprues mean more likely sales.

They will almost certainly be £1.60 each.

TBH - the initial intention was just to get them mastered for our upcoming Armed Minions, but a few folks on the CD Forum asked for them and we had a spare slot in this month's mould :)

Not necessarily.  I am always highly reluctant to buy mixed sprues, because of the waste involved.  But I know that Crooked Dice has a head swap forum, for its head sprues, so maybe a weapon swap forum would be possible too.

Bits are never a waste.

They are if a quarter of them are truncheons.

Let's say I want say 10 FAL's to outfit a squad as a conversion. I have to pay 16 quid? Whilst that may not be the norm it seems like a piss poor deal to me. Not sure I would bother given I could get 10 for £3.60 from TAG.

We're never going to please all of the people, all of the time. Some might say "Hoorah! I've got 40 weapons!" - others might say "Harumph! I only wanted 10 of them!" - and I agree the latter is probably not worthwhile if you aren't going to use them all.

However, 7TV uses small squads often armed with different weapons, so hopefully they might prove useful there.

Like I said, we didn't initially intend them for mass production - otherwise we would have put multiple of the same weapons on a tab. But they are there for those who want the convert. If not then hold on for the armed minion packs (four minis all with the same weapon) in the coming months.
