Emerging tunneler?
« on: June 26, 2012, 09:08:09 PM »
I know I saw one recently, resin, new release. I think 25/28mm, but not sure - could have been 15mm.

I'd sure like to find it again. Help?

I've just ordered four of the drill bit only from the Ironclad miniatures mole (not an option on the site, but I sent an email to ask if they were available separately) with the intention of making emerging tunnelers. I'll be sure to let you know how it turns out.

That is the one I think I meant. I swear there was another one that has a chunkier drill bit.

I love how there are actually multiple minis manufacturers with emerging tunneller scenery bits.  lol

Great, isn't it?

Sadly, the Chewk one is not currently available. I guess I will be getting one of the Ramshackle ones.

I have three of the Ramshacke moles (with two castings of just the "drill bit" after I asked) and one of the Ironclad yet I still would like a couple of the Chew drill tank when they become avilable

Just a side note, the ones from Khurasan are 15MM...

and the chewk it is shown with are not even 15mm high, they are intended to be used as a very small race in 15mm scale.

I will remind all of the GI Joe movie tie-in MOLE.

Takes a great deal of work to keep SOME folk happy *cough*Thunderchicken*cough*, but I still think it's doable, and the four I picked up to make my dream burrowtrain were very inexpensive.

Not seeing quite the same bargains on eBay, but worth keeping an eye on toy bins. They pop up now and then, and end up being cleared for little dosh.

Spartan games just added a emerging tunneller for their Russian faction, mind you this is a completely different scale then what your looking for but thought it might be nice to ad here.

Hope to see one at my shop soon, but I suspect it would work well as a moderate sized 15mm digger; for Dystopian Wars, it's a monster!

That would work as a digging vehicle, I suspect, but probably not as a troop carrier in 15mm.

I already have a quartet of Termites for my 6mm version.
