CONGRATULATIONS! I can see some Old Friends in that mix...a few are still hanging around. It's good to see one our more talented & prolific painters get such a bonanza. Have FUN with all the painting...we'll have fun watching your Fantasy Thread grow.

A verry juicy haul there, if you paid less than 3 figures for them then you got a bargain. In case you don't know, the ape like figure is an original limited release 'Jokaero'.

I knew he was a Jokaero miniature, It said so on his slotta.  :D I had no idea he was so rare.

Thank you Black Wolf, Mason, ilikepaintinglead, DeafNala and Theatralic.

I don't want to say. I don't want people to hate me.  ;D
Keep in mind I had next to no idea what I was going to end up with. All I could make out was approximately 60-70 models.
Other than seeing some slottas, I had no idea what most of these minis were or what kind of condition they where in.
I really lucked out.  :D

So this thread got me thinking.

http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=43442.0

I have some Mordheilm stuff, I have some of those old school GW miniatures left and I'm eventually planning on placing a LAM Bruegelburg order.

I'd like some fun a funky enemies for them, maybe undead or chaos, but with an old school John Blanche vibe.

I been looking around, Black Tree Designs, Reaper, Mega Miniatures, and I haven't really found anything yet.

I'm really only interested in metal (life is too short to paint plastic), and minis that are still be available (no OOP please), and can't be too expensive.

I'd like to end up with a decent warband for skirmish games, around 20 miniatures or so.

Any suggestions, or am I being way too picky?

Wow! a reply already. Thanks Thantsants!  :D

I really like the Four A stuff it's just not quite what I was looking for.

The Ral Partha Europe has some really neat stuff!

I imagine the newer slotta stuff is comparable size wise to Mordheim stuff.

These guys are right up my alley. Fun, funky and different. I just wonder how they scale up?

Not sure about scale with the Ral Partha stuff to be honest.

Ebay always a good place for a rummage!

Well if you like the Ral Partha minis, you don't have to order them from Europe; here in the US of A they're Iron Wind Metals:
