Some GW nostalgia
« on: July 13, 2012, 04:08:01 PM »
After watching the MadMax trilogy for the x-th time, I became a bit nostalgic and painted some GenTech corporation cars for the Dark Future game (a time when GW made games for the sake of gaming). So, here's the result: 2 high-tech interceptors loaded with weapons for about 350.000$.

I plan to make an outlaw gang soon...  :)

Damn, they look great! I didn't care much for the interceptor models but that paint job is spiffing!   :-*

Great stuff. It's a shame that the Perrys don't move into different scales as they always excelled with these. Wasn't there a short lived medieval 15mm foundry range?

They are awesome - well done!

On my DF models I tried magnetizing the weapons - it makes it nice and easy for switching loadouts, especially as the weapons are hard to come by.

I had been a GW fan since around the mid-2nd Generation 40K days --- how old is this stuff?  Like GW Judge Dredd/Rogue Trader old?

Dark Future was around '87 I think.  I remember buying a set when I was a teenager.

Great outlaws and those biker models are pretty good too. I've never really seen them with a proper paint job. Thanks for the link with the bigger pics, makes looking at them much easier 8)
