Two interesting games.
Looks like die rolling played a large part.
Great terrain, excellent report.

Awesome looking tables!

How is the game? I feel a strong urge to get a warband together. But I still have a bit of willpower left to control the urge.

So please tell me that the rules are nothing special and I need not go out and spend a lot of money to buy into it...

With terrain like that you dont even have to finnish the bases and the battle report looks good. Thanks for posting.

Thanks again guys! I am really humbldd by the response! :o

At Dr Zombie. It is mainly a fun game set in a historic setting as opposed to a historic simulation. It makes for good fun games. The concept is unusal in that you not not just push the minis over the table and roll for the results, but in that you also roll the SAGA dice and allocate them to the battleboard to activate units in the first place or use abilities that do at times a nations fighting style and times devine intervention.

Even if you decide to go for it, the actual cost is nit high. A Warband can be between 25 and 73 minis (or as low as 17 ifmyou play four points instead of 6) with mist being somewhere in the 30s or low 40s.

Cheers,

Burkhard

That was exactly what I did not want to hear! It confirmed my worst fears. :D

Now I have to paint up a warband of savage Vikings.
