Gorgeous  :-* :-* :-*  And as you and Hubbynz said, as good if not better than most metals out there despite being at least partly for the fantasy market.

Oh Captain my Captain,
you make my jaw drop with every posted picture.

I have these still to paint, too. Great paintjob especially on the shields.

Keep on .
Cheers

Looking extra good. I thought they were metal at first. Do you think they'll mix with Conquest Normans? Maybe the Conquest weapons are more proportionate.

Superb colour choices, really vivid that bring the figures to life Richard

Great painting Richard.  :D

Even if they aren't up to Perry quality you've made them look superb.

As for heraldry you need to put some yellow shells at the top of the red stripes to get the Earle coat of arms right.  ;)

Thanks chaps  :)
Shells might be a bit much for the poor old eyes  ;)

Everything's freehand. Transfers are for sissys  ;)

Don't have the Conquest Normans, so couldn't say. I picked them up and looked at them a couple of times at shows and didn't think much of them. I think the Fireforge figures (outsized weapons and all) are rather better than that. That said, I saw someone somewhere the other day opining that the Conquest Normans are indisputably the best plastics on the market (yes, really). Which just goes to show beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

What make is the bright silver metallic colour?  It looks very good.

It's just straight silver by Palmer Prism (ex-'Inscribe') craft acrylic.
