Thanks gents  :)
Great suggestions for medieval occupations beginning with B. I can see I’d better get on and build some more peasants!  lol

Very nice work indeed. I look forward to seeing that right nasty peasant, Bob the Bastard.

Alrighty...

I had a kitbashing mood upon me this week...

Thanks for your peasant naming suggestions… I’ve made up a few more ruffians to fit.

So, just to recap, in the peasantry, with improvised weapons, we now have…

Bob the butcher – nuff said, with...
Bob the bowman, now an archer in the lord’s service, but from peasant stock, hence his vulgar manners…

Bob the bodger, he’s a woodsman, charcoal burner, and chairmaker, with...
Bob the blacksmith, an ugly brute with a mighty hammer.

Bob the baker, with his fancy liripipe hood.
Bob the bumboat man, with his trusty quarterstaff/punt, and his careworn gambeson, from his days in his lord’s military service.

Bob the builder, sledgehammer, ugly expression and fat gut (like most of the builders I know), with...
Bob the brewer, armed with his malt flail

These fellows are kit-bashed from parts from so many different plastic sets, I’ve literally lost count. A lot of Fireforge and Perry, but also Conquest, Frostgrave, Gripping Beast and Warlord.

I’m particularly proud of Bob the bodger, wild man of the coppice, who has a Perry Zulu body and arms (!) grafted onto a pair of Wargames Factory ancient Celt legs, a GW head of some variety from the bits box, and a Green Stuff hairy waistcoat!

I’ve also made up a few more armed retainers:

Ribaud the spearman, Begum the archer, and Cerdic the enforcer…

Bobbin' along just fine, I see.

Now you'll just need a Baron Robert (or a robber(t) baron) to lord it over those revolting peasants.

A delightful set of rubes! And your creativity is really soaring when it comes to naming them.
