I will try to copy that highly contrasted horse painting tonight. It looks so beautiful to me!

I am curious to see the painted version of the Mason (I think he got his name  ;) ). Brilliant idea. Nice to see you working in the middleage again.

Really enjoying this thread. Just curious - have you been tempted by any of Fireforge's recent Forgotten World bits? I've kitbashed a bunch of them with Fireforge's historical range to reasonable effect with my Black Order and wondered if it might have utility for your stuff.
" ... the seventh wave of Thrall stumbled and climbed over the slippery, piled dead and Mazzarin saw The Watcher with them and at last knew the number of his days."

Thanks :)
Yes, I saw what you did with them, and they look good with your Green Stuff work.
I’m afraid though, I don’t greatly like the look of the ‘Northern Kingdom’ - which are a blatant rip-off of the production design of the Starks in HBO’s Game of Thrones. Quite how they haven’t been sued yet, I don’t know. But there’s still time.
I also find the cartoony style of the figures and sculpting all a bit too sub-GW. So no, I’m really not that tempted  :)
Some of their original medieval stuff isn’t too bad, so I’ll stick with a few of those sets for the useful base figures they can provide for kit-bashing.

Forgive me for jumping in on this but I have to agree with Richard. Their historical stuff is not only cartoony but lacks any variation. Especially the resins.

I feel bad saying this but sometimes the historical ranges strike me as being barely historical too.
