T Rex WIP
« on: July 30, 2012, 06:36:42 AM »
Did a few cavemen and mammoths awhile back. It was fun enough to get some dinosaurs and some hunters for a Teddy Roosevelt T Rex safari.  Got the airbrush out, and gave him his base colors. Next step will be some more detailing, similar to how I've been doing armor models-pin washes, etc. and customary highlighting.

That looks nothing like Mark Bolan.  :?

Nice work and a cool colour palette.

That looks great. I love the use of contrasting colour on its head. Who makes the figure?

It doesn't look like Teddy Roosevelt either!

He's from Acheson creations, part of a set. The other component is a partially eating brontosaurus, or whatever they are now called.

I took the skin pattern from this site:

Doing some oil washes on him now.  I'll put up a new picture over the weekend.

Thanks.

In this case, a paté saurus ...
Back from the dead, almost.
