I too have been wanting to get some Quar but have always been held up by the lack of any enemies to throw at them with equal character.

How about Eureka Anteaters and Camelcorps, in Foreign legion style?

Your Quar are cool I love the old Void walking Tank, great idea
 
And you don't need an enemy to fight the Quar.
Quar fights Quar its a big ol' Civil war



Micro pin vice bit (I can't remember the size) and a cut-down staple for the rod. I used a steel dissection pin tool to start the hole, and took it slow. It was tedious, but now I'm confident they'll survive fair handling.
